The Significance of Friday (Jumu'ah) in Islam

Friday, or Jumu'ah, is considered the holiest day of the week in Islam. The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said, "The best day on which the sun has risen is Friday."

The Jumu'ah Prayer

The Friday prayer replaces the Dhuhr prayer and is obligatory for adult Muslim men. It includes a sermon (Khutbah).

Etiquettes of Friday

It is recommended to take a bath (Ghusl), wear clean clothes, apply perfume, and recite Surah Al-Kahf on Fridays.
